Conversion Analyst (14336)
Fidelity National Financial

Position Description
This position will be responsible for delivering high quality, on-time data conversions to our customers while following team standard approaches. The candidate will coordinate with project managers, 3rd party data sources (vendors) and customers to ensure that processes and expectations are well understood and met. In addition to project work, the team member will support the overall team objective to standardize our approach to conversions. This will include participating in meetings and discussions about the creation or modification of standards, creating or modifying documentation and building conversion routines / components that reflect the team's standards and documentation.

To qualify for this position, the candidate must have excellent time management and communication skills, possess a Bachelors of Science Degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of experience in the financial services industry. The candidate must have and be able to demonstrate SQL programming experience as well as some knowledge of SQL database administration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully deliver on high profile/priority projects
· Participate in meetings with customers and internal resources
· Communicate with other project members about business/project issues and help bring them to resolution
· Establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
· Communicate project scope and expectations to customers and internal resources
· Identify and report any changes in scope to management
· Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams
· Provide conversion and post-conversion support up to successful turnover to customer care team
· Adhere to existing team standards, processes, approaches and company policies
· Help to define, document and implement changes to team standards
· Attend scheduled training sessions that pertain to Fidelity products and services
· May be required to support conversion projects during non-business hours and/or weekends
· Other duties as assigned

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
· 2 years SQL programming experience with Database administrator (DBA) qualifications preferred
· 2 years of IT Project Management and/or Software Implementation experience
· 2 years experience in interacting with external customers in the banking or financial services industry
· Experience with conversions in financial services industry preferred
· Must be able to manage several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
· High degree of flexibility, creativity, innovation and critical thinking
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Strong communication skills
· Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities

Scheduled Hours: (i.e. 8 am -5 pm M-F, 2pm - 6pm M, W, F, etc.)
8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

Additional Comments:
Occasionally, weekend work is needed to fulfill customer conversion timelines. These dates are typically known well in advance.
