Job Status: Full Time Work Experience Required: Up to 1 Year Hours/Shifts: Day (First Shift) Education Required: High School Diploma Certification Required: Unspecified Weekends: Not Required Authorized to work in US: Yes  Pay and Benefits Salary Range: Unspecified Benefits:		Cargo Handler Ryder System Requisition Number : 5211  Position Description:  The purpose of the Cargo Handler position is to accurately transfer product, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, and load / unload trailers.  Requirements:   · High school diploma or equivalent. · A minimum of one year of related warehouse experience. · Forklift certified required    Additional Requirements:  Good communication skills in English, ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted and the capacity to transact system information in a productive manner.  Responsibilities:  · Performs the assigned tasks as described in the position's Level 4 processes to include the physical handling of materials within associated logical transactions. · Performs material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required by the Level 4 processes. · Participates in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions. · Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers. Ensure all scanning completed correctly. Help train dock employees on new procedures. Ensure facility is secure at end of shift, investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.
