Job Description:
Works with the Catering Sales Team and Banquet Operations Team to ensure all Catered Functions are successfully carried out.
· Provides immediate attention to meeting planner/contact upon arrival thru event conclusion.
· Recommends and coordinates the set-up of the meeting room based on the number of participants and program.
· Notify program participants of location assigned.
· Coordinates catering of meals or snacks as requested on the BEO.
· Arrange for cleaning of rooms after use.
· Participates in the interviewing, hiring, and training of employees.
· Works along with the Banquet Manager to plan, assign, and direct work; appraisal performances; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager
· Update and change checks in Delphi
· Attend all BEO meetings, and requisition any specialty item.
· Preferred 1 to 2 years of Banquet experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
· Banquet experience within the Hospitality Industry.
· Experience with DELPHI, JONAS preferred.
· Experience with Point of Sale system preferred.
· Check processing on POS system.
· Other duties may be assigned as business demands
