Training Lead/Manager

Description:

Our client is seeking a Training Lead/Manager. Responsibilities:
· Write, edit and revise documentation for product suite
· Develop standards and templates for product documentation and training material
· Prepare instructor guides to assist with the delivery of classes
· Collaborate with Product Management, Product Development and QA to revise training material for new releases
· Ensure the quality of training material and documentation, validating training exercises, and process documentation
· Enhance and maintain training portion of the support website, and enhance and maintain computer-based training material
· Coordinate training schedule
· Deliver classroom training at headquarters and onsite

Requirements:
The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
· Strong analysis skills, able to identify missing and/or conflicting steps in a process
· Ability to grasp technical and business concepts quickly, recognize documentation needs, gather requirements, determine appropriate deliverables, initiate projects, and see the work through to completion
· Must have skills in the use of writing software tools such as Microsoft Office, RoboHelp, PowerPoint, Visio and other desktop-publishing software
· Motivated and independent self starter
· Some travel required (approximately 20%)

Preferred Qualifications:
· College degree with major course work in English, journalism, communications or and area related to Computer Information Systems
· Two years of experience in a position requiring extensive writing, computer desktop publishing or classroom delivery skills teaching computer systems
