Logistician/Configuration Management

Description:

Kforce is seeking an experienced Logistician/CM for a government agency or federal contractor with knowledge of DOD logistics, regulations, and procedures. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Maintain extensive inventory of GFE for multiple sites
· Reconcile current inventory in accordance with regulations and maintain/transfer equipment to inventory
· Provide hardware support to for multiple sites
· Support hardware repair and manage warranties
· Support site installations
· Assist in the procurement of equipment; inventory, testing, transfers, and the shipping of equipment
· Document site configuration
· Site support
· Receive and track requests for support from sites
· Configuration management of all program and contract deliverable documents (CDRL items, Users Guides, and TSSSD)

Requirements: Education and Required Experience:
· BS in related field with a minimum eight (8) years of related experience
· Must be able to maintain GFE inventory database and Configuration Management in accordance with FAR regulations
· Must have a minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in DOD inventory control, acquisitions, provisioning, and logistics support
· Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team
· Ability to adjust to continuously changing priorities and schedules based on customer needs across multiple projects
· Must be proficient in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
· Excellent written and oral communications skills (required)

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Compensation: $30.00 to $35.00 per Hour
