· Ensure the general ledger is closed monthly within the timelines of the Corporate closing schedule, financial statements are presented to management in accordance with GAAP, and appropriate financial variance analyses are provided timely to management.
· Responsible for all financial aspects of 3 Associations & 2 Corporate Entities.
· Ensure balance sheet accounts are appropriately reconciled and timely.
· Obtain a full understanding of the Internal Audit Standard Operating Procedures. Provide mock audits for Respective sites and provide action plans with recommendations to ensure compliance.
· Perform special projects and research issues as deemed necessary

Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
· 2-3 years of Accounting experience
· Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and to take initiative in problem solving.
· Ability to work overtime to assist in Financial Reporting Department Deadlines.
· Experienced and proven proficiency with hands-on experience in the use and understanding Microsoft Excel.
· Preferred PeopleSoft General Ledger query and Nvision report writer experience.
· Hospitality experience a plus.
